Mixed media collage on canvas. An underwater scene built from layered paper and acrylic: seagrass stems in ochre and olive rise vertically, topped with seed pods in burnt sienna and tan. The background transitions pale gray-blue above to deeper blue below — depth by value shift, not perspective. Ferron’s Salish Sea Dreams series draws from the marine environment around Lopez Island. The forms are botanical but could be coral; the ambiguity is deliberate.
