Here, across this tall canvas, I let cascading blooms and branching stems drift down from vintage Chinoiserie depths, then interrupted the quiet with bold blocks of red and orange — the modern and unexpected breaking through. Worn surfaces and distressed textures meet that sudden, dynamic color; gentle old meets dynamic new, a resting place for the eye as something reinvented emerges.
