Carved stained Red Cedar — vessel form. A horizontal boat-shaped object with hundreds of hemispherical indentations carved across its entire surface. The exterior is dark charcoal; the grain runs lengthwise. The interior reads lighter. This is entirely carved — no added color, no applied medium. The indentations transform the salvaged wood’s surface into something neither tool marks nor botanical but something between.
